Over the past years, several members of the Boys ECNL program and Academy have moved onto Professional Club Development Academies to include Atlanta United, New York Red Bulls and Orlando City.

As the 2019-20 season begins we congratulate the following players who have into the Orlando City Soccer Club Development Academy program; Owen Drummond, Andrew Smith, Seth Trombino (2006); Mike Costa, Josue Manzano, Diego Quinones, Andrew Kettleson (2005); Tristan Himes, Sebastian Gutierrez, Magnoli Issac (2006); Omar Wahba and Gabi Toro (2002).

This past summer, the Boys ECNL Program at Orlando City Youth joined the Concorde Fire of the Southeast League in placing 3 of its 6 teams into the National Playoffs.

“The Boys ECNL program at OCYS had a phenomenal year in 2018-19 and the work that the players put in over the past 12 months has been exceptional. It is a major accomplishment of the program that 12 ECNL players were scouted to Professional Club teams. The players have really been able to develop their game within training and that ECNL games are an excellent environment to improve as a soccer player” said Phil Gordon, ECNL Boys Director.

"One of our best years to date in the program. We knew at the start of the season that the quality of players in our Academy was high. Our goal was to create a challenging environment and positive culture in the program and we did. Thank you to the players for their commitment and the families for their unwavering support,” said Technical Director Paul Shaw.
